What geographic locations do you recruit for?
We work with Health Plans Nationwide, from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. What this means for you is we have a strong network and great contacts in most locations.
Are you retained or contingent?
The short answers is, both. It depends on the search and your needs.
What are your fees?
Our fee schedules vary but they have one thing in common, we provide great value for superstar candidates. We currently accept checks and credit, however we are open to payment in shoes and purses. Please contact us to find out about this fee schedule.
How do you recruit?
At our core, we are networkers. How we do that changes frequently. The key to our success is not ever standing still. We stay at the forefront of technology and our industry to always be ahead of the curve. We also love what we do and that passion shows through!
What information does Avalon need to get started?
Typically, we get the best results from searches where we work closely with HR and the hiring manager to really understand the position and requirements. However, we have also had success filling positions with limited information. When talking to candidates we want to be able to convey how great your company is – so the more information we have the better.
How long is the process?
Each process is unique. We’ve filled roles in less than 30 days and some take as long as six months. It all depends on your timeline and the search at hand. Some candidate skill sets are harder to find and those elusive purple squirrels searches can take longer.
Do you do background checks, references or degree verifications?
We tailor our recruiting process to your needs. You want a background check, we can do it! Need references? Done! Degrees checked? Yes! Whatever you need, we will work with your HR department to ensure it is completed to your satisfaction.
